Pretty Prompt runs as a browser extension on any Chromium-based browser. That includes Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, and Comet.

## Install in three steps

1. Open the [Pretty Prompt page on the Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/prettyprompt/opjebobgkipcdimgofkboimilnchghpd).
2. Click **Add to Chrome** (the same button adds it to Edge, Brave, Arc, etc.).
3. Pin the extension to your toolbar so it's always one click away.

That's it. The next time you open ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, Pretty Prompt will be there — you'll see a small button next to the chat input. [See video example here](https://youtu.be/oHaScqw0fXI).

## Keyboard shortcut

On any page, press `Cmd+Shift+P` on macOS or `Ctrl+Shift+P` on Windows/Linux to open Pretty Prompt in a popup. You can type, paste, or edit anywhere — even outside of a supported AI tool.

ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini work in the browser right away. ## Troubleshooting

If the button doesn't show up after installing:

- Make sure the extension is pinned and enabled in `chrome://extensions`.
- Refresh the AI tool tab once after installing.
