To share prompts with your team, **save the prompt to your library** first. When you save, you can keep it **private** (only you) or share it with a **team**.

You need a [team license](/docs/account/create-a-team) and an active team before teammates can see shared prompts.

## Step by step

1. **Save the prompt** you want to your library — from the extension or the [web app](https://app.pretty-prompt.com/).
2. Open **Library**, click the prompt you want to share.
3. Click **Share**, then choose the team you want to share with.

Done. Everyone on that team can use the prompt from **Library → Team Library**.

Your prompt **history** (everything you've improved in the past) stays private. Only prompts you explicitly save and share show up in the team library. See [Create a team and invite members](/docs/account/create-a-team) if you still need to set up a team.
