Pretty Prompt was born late at night, somewhere between frustration and curiosity.

While building our first product, Dolphin AI, we kept running into the same wall: prompt engineering. Writing good AI prompts is weirdly hard — and refining them? Even worse. It's a constant battle of iteration, just like building a new product.

We found ourselves stuck in endless loops of trial, error, tweak, repeat.

That's when it clicked. If we, as founders, were wrestling with this, how many others were too? What if there was a simple, clean way to make prompt writing easier for everyone?

So over a weekend, we hacked together a scrappy MVP. No fluff, no overthinking — just a tool we wished existed. We called it Pretty Prompt. (It was half-code, half-vibe code!)

Then came Product Hunt. In the first few days, it had already improved over 8,000 prompts.

The numbers told us we were not alone: this mattered to many more than just Charlie and me.

As momentum grew, Neal, Founder of Growth Support, jumped in to bring operational clarity to our chaos and help us shape the brand and product.

At our core, Pretty Prompt is about one thing: unlocking AI for everyone. Not just developers, not just AI nerds — everyone. We believe the power of AI shouldn't be locked behind complex syntax or niche know-how. So we made it simple.
