Your first improved prompt
A 60-second walkthrough of turning a rough idea into a polished prompt using Pretty Prompt for the first time.

Here's the shortest path from "I have an idea" to "I have a great prompt".
1. Open any supported AI tool
Open ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another supported site in your browser. You should see the Pretty Prompt button near the message input.
2. Type your idea the way you'd say it
Don't overthink it. A rough sentence is fine. For example:
"help me write a birthday message for my coworker who likes dogs"
3. Click Improve
Pretty Prompt rewrites your input into a structured, context-rich prompt. You'll usually see two options:
- Improved — a clearer, more specific version of what you wrote.
- Refined — a fuller, more detailed prompt with structure, tone, and constraints.
Pick the one that fits your use case and hit send.
