Hotkeys and keyboard shortcuts
Use Tab, Cmd+Enter, and Cmd+Shift+P to improve prompts, apply results, and open the extension popup — and customize shortcuts in Settings.

You can use Pretty Prompt with keyboard shortcuts to work faster and stay in flow. Your prompts, your way.
Shortcuts

| Open the extension popup from any website | Cmd + Shift + P | Ctrl + Shift + P |
- Press Tab while your cursor is in a supported AI tool's prompt box to run Improve.
- Press Cmd + Enter (or Ctrl + Enter) to apply the improved prompt into the chat input.
- Press Cmd + Shift + P (or Ctrl + Shift + P) from any page to open the extension popup — useful when you're not on a supported site or want to edit outside the chat box.
Customize or enable/disable shortcuts
You can turn shortcuts off or remap them in the extension settings:
- Open the extension popup — click the Pretty Prompt icon in your browser toolbar, or press
Cmd+Shift+P(Ctrl+Shift+Pon Windows/Linux). - Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Choose Settings.
- Scroll to Keyboard Settings.
- Adjust the shortcuts to match how you work.
Changes apply immediately in the extension.
